Celebrants are people in your community who have been professionally trained in the Art of Ceremony, Traditions, and Symbolism by the CelebrantUSA Foundation & Institute.  We perform a variety of ceremonies that mark the milestones of life.  Certified Celebrant's have created and officiated over one million ceremonies (and growing) worldwide over the past 30 years!  The Celebrant's mission is to create personalized ceremonies using sound, music, words, poetry, readings from secular, religious, spiritual or mythical venues, and rituals that reflect your needs, your beliefs, your cultural and religious/spiritual background(s), and your values.  The Celebrant motto is:  "Your Voice, Your Choice, Your Ceremony" .                       Back to Top

People choose the services of a Celebrant over other types of officiants to ensure that it is their voice and their desires that are reflected in the ceremony they wish to have performed.   Unlike other types of officiants, the beliefs and wishes of a Celebrant are not the focus.  Instead, it is the voice of the client that is brought to the forefront and honored in each of our ceremonies.  If you would like your ceremony to reflect who you are, and you would like complete control over how your voice is presented in your ceremony, choosing a Celebrant will ensure that the ceremony created will be what you desire it to be.          Back to Top

Persian myth tells of a young man, Ferhad, who was in love with a disinterested girl, Shirin. When she rejected him outright, Ferhad went out in the desert and wept mournfully. As his tears pooled in the sand, they became beautiful tulips. Ferhad died of a broken heart, but the tulips remained.
